Anbesol Teething Gel 10g
Anbesol Teething Gel contains the active ingredients Lidocaine Hydrochloride that is a local anaesthetic to numb the pain and Chlorocresol and Cetylpyridinium Chloride, which are antiseptics to help protect against infection.
Anbesol Teething Gel is used for temporary relief of pain caused by teething and recurrent mouth ulcers.
Directions:
Apply a small amount of Anbesol Teething Gel to a clean fingertip and spread gently onto the sore area of the gum. Use up to four times a day.
Overdose:
If your baby has had more than the prescribed dose it would not be expected to cause any adverse effects, unless more than one tube of Anbesol Teething Gel is taken, in which case you should consult your doctor or pharmacist.
Ingredients:
Anbesol Teething Gel contains the following active ingredients: Lidocaine Hydrochloride 1.0% w/w, Chlorocresol 0.1% w/w, Cetylpyridinium Chloride 0.02% w/w
Anbesol Teething Gel also contains: Alcohol, Clove Oil, Glycerin, Hydroxypropyl Cellulose, Sodium Saccharin, Colourant E124, Water.
If your baby is sensitive to any of the above ingredients you should not use this product without consulting your doctor or a pharmacist.
Warnings:
If symptoms continue for more than seven days consult your doctor or dentist
Side-effects:
Anbesol Teething Gel may not suit everybody. Some patients may have side effects. If an unwanted effect is severe or lasts more than a few days, you should see your doctor or pharmacist.
Unwanted side effects may include ulceration
If you notice any other unwanted side effect, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist
